Ditzy Post

Oh ya thanks to Anj Alarilla for somewhat reminding me to post this:

160 pounds na ako!!! (from 150)
***20 more pounds or so and hindi na ako underweight (Oh Yeah!)***

Some additional thoughts:

Subject: ENGLISH IS A WEIRD LANGUAGE

If mouse is to mice,
And if louse is to lice,
Why is house not to hice?
(and whatever happened to die for dice?)

If comedian is to comedienne,
And if Adrian is to Adrienne,
Then lesbian is to?     **hey wait a minute... 8-)

**FYI: Ditzy, according to Julie, means "walang laman ang utak"

Ni jiang de hua wo ting budong

**Got a new message under my "JSA Says" section so check it out huhu**

Yesterday I was invited by Father Ari to go to the informal merienda session with the Chinese Youth Delegation. Of course, Celadon was their to provide a little bit of "formality" since they are after all the "youth" delegation and of course the Chinese faculty were already past that stage. Plus, Celadon was able to provide two numbers (i.e. a dance and a song) to lessen the informality of the visit. Actually, come to think of the wacky atmosphere Celadoneans have put into the event, yes, the event was indeed "informal." Anyywayyy...

More importantly, the event made me realize how much I need to brush up on my Chinese Mandarin. It took me a good 3-5 seconds just to process the Chinese Mandarin questions asked by Laoshi Daisy and Laoshi Jane, and my replies were even half as decent. Grabe ang galing ni Trina!

Oh and I miss Alpine White. I hope Nestle rethinks about pulling it out of the chocolate industry some time soon.

Happy Daddy

Had out first Celadon alumni meeting last night.

Food was great (which is why I chose the place) but the venue was not that conducive for discussion.

Last night was "okay" (like Randy Jackson saying "okay" to AI4 contestants). Although I had fun meeting Celadon alumni (e.g. Chewee, Lem, Ivan, LiGo, Mama Nats, Oscar, etc.) again, there were some low points during the event. Like when I was left alone hosting the alumni's thoughts about initiating the association (because Clarence had to leave early, and Sir Wilson only supported me verbally by saying "ya gao ya gao" for the nth time), I can say that they were really shy to participate that time and I had to curtail the agenda.

At least we were able to "formally form" the Celadon Alumni Association.

Today was fun. Although I wasn't able to wake up early and play badminton with my Badminton Club folks (Zo, Mic, Cla, Di, Fuzz, etc.), at least I was able to talk with my Comm babies Ginnii and Justin over lunch at KFC about managing the Department next sem. 'Twas super fun hearing out all their plans for next year, and it was nice sharing some of my concerns and suggestions to them as well. Gosh I'm proud of my babies! Haha they've already grown. **happy daddy**

More philosophizings

Good things come to those who wait.
Bad things come to those who hesitate.

Special reply to Mike (haha naks!): Sabagay, pero what if the truth was told with good intent naman to change the person for the better, pero from whichever angle one sees it, it's considered tactless since it hurts the person before it aims to change him? Admittedly, truth hurts. But aren't all potent pills bitter anyway?

Restless

I'm bumming around like a lava lamp...

Argh unemployment is really frustrating me!!!

How true is this?

Can't sleep.

Thankfully, my friends' blogs and my own are keeping me company. Time to be type-happy:

Thought about this when I was taking a bath a while ago. I wonder how true these are. Yup, I'm starting to live up to my "random philosophizings" blog title but I'm not 100% confident about the veracy of these thoughts. Anyway, to my blog friends out there (promise I'll put a link to your blogs soon), if you want to share some thoughts about my thoughts, I'm just a tag away:

Virtue's Downsides?
Vigilance knows no trust,
Truth knows no tact.

Out

Everyone seems to be out-of-town lately.

As for me, well, I'm getting out of my mind answering these challenging application essay questions from these multinational corporations.

Hope I land on a job soon. Haven't actually started submitting application forms in person, though I have been submitting online applications since www.jobstreet.com.ph knows when.

And and I really want to be part of the third Dragon 100 forum in HK and Shanghai (so I get to be part of those out-of-town people too hehe)!!! Hope my folks allow me even if the first day of the forum = my birthday.

I miss orgwork already (though I haven't done my RC's yet! Wahh)

No more stalkers, please!

It's so sad to have updated my blog after a longgggg time huhu and it's even sadder to deliver bad news:

I hate stalkersssssss!!!

Okay so this happened again over YM (Yahoo and Privacy, yeah right), where I was asked a confirmation from this "tracee_wee" person. I, having a previous encounter with a creepy fan, did not add her/him/the-hell-do-I-know to my list. I dropped a message first to her, suspecting she might be the Tracy I know from ASLA. Days went with no reply from her until just now (at about 7:24pm):

tracee_wee (7:24:40 PM): hello
jsa821 (7:24:50 PM): hi may i know who this is?
tracee_wee (7:26:21 PM): tracee wee
tracee_wee (7:26:21 PM): you??
tracee_wee (7:26:35 PM): i just saw your id on the egroup of judenites so i added u
jsa821 (7:27:35 PM): sori not a judenite
jsa821 (7:30:50 PM): so how did you know my address?
**No reply from her anymore**

Now don't get me wrong. I am open to the whole idea of making friends online AS LONG AS (and this is such a big requisite that it merits the ALL CAPS) we have a common friend and I know the person on the other side of the monitor isn't some hacker/whatever. Eh tingnan mo naman ito, nag-imbento pa?! Judenite daw ako? What's worse, when I asked her how she came to know my Yahoo ID (since obviously, I don't belong to any Judenite e-group, much less belong to St. Jude), no reply na! Hmm...

I just hope this "tracee_wee" person just got me mistaken for someone else.
